Mr. Bernth joined Bradley Payne Advisors in August 2020. Prior to joining Bradley Payne, Mr. Bernth worked for Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated for over ten years. Over that time period, Mr. Bernth transitioned from an analyst to a director role within the firm, where he served two public finance offices prior to acting as lead banker on development/tax increment financing, special district, port authorities, school district and city transactions. In addition, Michael has extensive experience working with economic developers in Ohio and has helped analyze and structure many financings.

Mr. Bernth has experience with tax exempt and taxable voted and unvoted general obligation bonds and notes, revenue bonds, including sales tax revenue, various types of economic development revenue bonds, including tax-increment financings, community development charge bonds and private placements.

Michael has been involved in issues across Ohio totaling more than approximately $4 billion in par amount. Mr. Bernth has the knowledge and expertise to assist a wide variety of clients on many types of financing solutions.

Mr. Bernth is a Registered Municipal Advisor, registered with the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB) and the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC). He currently holds a Series 50 license.

Mr. Bernth received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, with a concentration in Finance.
