John Payne is the original founder of Bradley Payne Advisors.  He recently stepped down as Partner and is transitioning to a reduced role in the operations of the company.  During his expected multi-year transition, he continues to act as a Senior Advisor for many of the firm’s clients.

Mr. Payne began his municipal bond career of nearly forty years as a budget analyst and assistant debt manager for the State of Ohio and followed that as an investment banker for more than two decades for two of Ohio’s premier banking groups.  Mr. Payne’s experience includes senior managing and/or lead advising on several hundred Ohio school bond issues totaling billions of dollars in offering value as well as managing a number of State, County and City issues.

Mr. Payne founded Bradley Payne Advisors in 2009, an independent municipal advisory and consulting firm. Mr. Payne is a Registered Municipal Advisor and Municipal Advisors Principal, registered with the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB) and the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC). He currently holds Series 50 & 54 licenses.

Mr. Payne graduated from Ohio Northern University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business and from Ohio University with a Masters of Political Science.
